Who would have thought

Who would have thought when I met Roberto 3 years ago

When we were just 2 crazy cats having a blast together

Not a care in the world

No obligations... besides which beer we would take to the PATS game

Or to the Celtics Game

Having a blast with friends every weekend

That we would move in together... and become fur parents

AND when we took this picture

Never ever did we think that in 5 more months this would be us

We are so blessed and excited!!!

I had my doctors appointment yesterday and I am 2CM dilated!!!! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!
I had the Group B strep test done, and she then started my first exam, and I think someone should have warned me how freakin painful this is. She is not a gentle creature by any means holy moly. Anyway she was doing the exam and said "His head is right there" I asked if he had dropped (stupid question lace) she said Yes he has dropped alright, he is very low and you are 2CM dilated and 50% effaced. She also said that if she were to take an educated guess based on his position I would have a quick and easy labor. ANGELS SANG!

Bad news- My blood pressure is super high and I have a lot of swelling. If this doesn't drop by next week she is pulling me out of work ...which would mean my maternity leave starts... which would mean I would NOT be a happy camper! So lets keep my friend "bloodpressure" in our prayers for the next week and hope he goes down so this doesn't happen.

  2. Wow that's great. If I hadn't been induced because of low fluid this last time I'm pretty sure Layla would have been overdue. At 39 weeks I was only 1/2 a cm dialated. Womp..womp.

  4. Keeping your BP in my prayers. But how exciting is 2cm? So jealous. I just posted my update on my doc appointment a few days ago and sadly I'm not dialated at all. Sadface.

  6. Oh my gosh... you two are the CUTEST couple ever! And how exciting about your precious baby on the way! I can't wait to follow along on the rest of your pregnancy journey (even though it's almost over!) Definitely crossing my fingers that your blood pressure goes down, along with the swelling. Would compression socks help? My doctor told me that as soon as it cools down I'll need to start wearing compression socks while I work.
