Etsy

Ladies- Etsy is my new obsession. I want and need everything from the site, but I haven't ordered anything yet so I'm really unaware how the whole process works.

Here are some of the few things that will be purchased for the babe.

No we are not naming the baby Nicholas that will get customized.

Also in baby news. I am 26 weeks and 3 days.
Baby is the size of a head of lettuce

Which in my stomach is frickin BIG and I am extremely uncomfortable already and getting very annoyed with people saying "if your this uncomfortable now, just wait you are going to get SO much bigger" zip it peeps, I will cross that bridge when I get there let me do the complaining for now. Also memorial day weekend--sitting in outdoor patio chairs (which are not comfortable) and watching about 100 games of polish horseshoes and many people drinking adult beverages put me back into a slump. Needless to say next memorial weekend the little man will be 7 months and momma bear will be tearing up the polish horseshoe field.

Baby Name

What goes into a babies name?! I mean this little person is going to have this name for the rest of their lives. They have to go through kindergarten with it, go through highschool while their parents are screaming the name to make that touchdown or POINT your toes in a dance recital, and they have to be able to be established with their names when they are older and are working. Probably one of the hardest things I have had to do is settle on a name for my baby boy. After many talks and boyfriend saying "no that reminds me of a douche bag in highschool" or "no he did steroids while playing for the Baltimore Ravens" Oh and not to mention boyfriend has not come up with ONE name for this baby...I was very happy to say we had finally settled on the name.

                                                                   Until Last Night...

My guilty pleasure is 16 and pregnant and Teen mom, ya I know--gross.

I have not tuned into 16 and pregnant in sometime, but last night boyfriend had a softball game and went out for a few beers after so I was on my own for television and supper (wah) so I decided why not indulge in some trash TV

                                                                         Meet Devon:

And baby daddy Colin...

These wonderful people will name their son the same name we have taken almost 7 months to decide.

                                                                              LANDON.
                                                                            UGH why me?!

Now picture this- me laying on the bed propped up by my boppy pillow shirt pulled up with Burts Bee's oil soaking on my belly... I hear the name from the white trash mouth and immediately start to cry. Like BAWL. Snot flying...everything. So if we decided on keeping the name and ANYONE thinks I picked it because of these peeps I will go into a fit rage because WE had it first!!!!

Also on a even more awesome note: a co-worker of mine who is pushing 70 and has the worst breath I have ever encountered said this to me today and I quote "“Wow you don’t look so pregnant today. Yesterday in your black dress you looked really pregnant and I thought black made people look slimming but guess not” What is it with people?!

Newest Additions to the Fam

Happy Hump Day- THANK goodness for a 3 day weekend, this Momma needs some relaxation and to tan herself up! I have recently got some new items to add to my family..who I have named: *Give me Now*

Bubble Neckless EBAY found here

I 100% can not take any credit for this recent purchase- I found it via blogging and also via my friend Brie- immediately fell in love with the price and the color. I am a HUGE turquoise fan, everything I have is basically that color. I have to admit it is SORT of cheap looking but your also paying $15.00 for it, so it cant be that high end, also the jewels are more of a sea green-but again one of my most favorite purchases in a long time, but I also have been buying only baby stuff for awhile so I'm not a very good judgement.

This lovely little guy was a gift from Roberto's parents. HOW cute is he?! I grew up with a collection of "precious moments" little figurines,  I didn't think anyone in MA knew what these little guys were. I was so excited to get this! Loooove it.

Target $18.00
Target 27.00

I basically bought the first dress in every color they have because thats all I am fitting into these days. Both of these are non maternity AND what makes me even happier is they are all in size small still:) woohoo!

Ladies... BUY THE BOOK! Enough Said....

Monday Monday

Happy Monday! My little monster is a kicking machine! He is kicking so much I feel like he is literally going to come through my stomach.  I will be just going about my day and WHAM huge kick- and it takes my breath away and is actually starting to make me feel nauseous.

We have finally reached the point that our fabulous little boy would be able to survive outside of mama's tummy! Also in better news (panic attack mode for me) one of my baby posts reads this for weeks 25 "In mobile-fetus news: your baby should be scootching slowly out of the breech position (head upright, with their butt-n-legs down by your pelvis) and start rotating around for a head-first exit through the birth canal"

HOLY SH*T baby is getting ready to launch- I know I still have 15 weeks left but this pregnancy is FLYING by. I have to admit- when we found out we were expecting and all the mama's out there would start with "UGH you have to go through all summer, I dont envy you!" I was nervous this was going to be a slow moving lets get this thing moving type pregnancy, but as much as I complain and whine I actually might miss my belly *foot in mouth* ...guess we will see about that one.

I decided to do a confessional today because its Friday and it doesn't hurt to confess to some things....so link up with Leslie @ Blonde Ambition and get some things off your chest

-1-

I confess that I went to the grand opening of Sephora to get my free tote only and came out with a $30 mascara- I'm not sure why I think this is okay- saving for a baby and I buy this... no need.

-2-

This is a confessional so there is NO JUDGEMENT- I confess that I do have fat feet now due to the wonderful weight gain- BUT I also did get a design on my toes like I was in 5th grade

-3-

On the way to work this morning "Rack City" came on the radio and *this* is all I could think of, after about a few giggles I confess to putting on my inner gangsta, made sure no one was looking and reclined the seat a little while head bobbing.

-4-

I confess that when I was working out on a regular basis that this is how I really felt

Again this is a confessional so no judgement:)

Have a great weekend

I will be DAMNED

Sooo I did probably the most stupid thing ever this Sunday. I was making pasta going about my merry way, pasta was finished so now time to dump out the water...

Stupid me... completely missed the sink. I am not sure if it's because my stomach is huge and it got in the way or what the whole situation was, but I dumped a good amount onto what I thought was the sink, but it was not... it was my wonderful belly. Immediately I screamed... A.) because it fricken hurt B.) because I thought I just boiled my un born baby. So there I was in the middle of the kitchen, my dressed ripped off... crying-- Que in: Roberto- "WHAT WERE YOU DOING" Me- sobbing told him what happend, he then says "You are 6 1/2 month pregnant Lace you cant be doing the stuff you used to anymore" whoa whoa- I didn't realize moving water from the stove to the sink was considered a dead lifting contest.

Not to worry- I did contact my OB and she said that the baby is completely fine and there is nothing to worry about.

Here is a pic of the wonderful burn I have now. Looks pretty tiny in this pic but it is probably about 6 inches long and 3 inches deep. My precious tummy has absolutely no stretch marks as of yet, and my mom did not have any with me or my brother so I have a good feeling I will be blessed with none. SO I will be damned if this burn is going to ruin my stomach from coming out of this pregnancy scar free. Mederma and Aloe are my new biffles as of lately.

Mothers DAY!

Happy Mothers day to all the Mamas out there!

I had a great day! Roberto came through and surprised me with roses and breakfast in bed on Sunday. Also  got me the mom and baby faceless angel & and prenatal massage- thank the lord.

We then went on a picnic to a place called "Purgatory" it is beautiful. I was told that we were going on a picnic and to do some "light" trail walking. Perfect- exercise and a nice nature walk. I decide that since we are only going on a nice trail walk that flip flops are necessary because it was  ridiculously hot here yesterday. I pack up and nice lunch and our little dog and we are off to a nice day outside. The "light" trail walking turned into a full fledged mountain climb. After a mile into our trail walk we take a different route instead of staying on the path (clever)-- now we are completely lost. Once we finally find an opening this is my view to get up from where we were at.

So 24 weeks pregnant, big belly, small dog, and flip flops went ahead and CLIMBED the rocks. We did this for about a mile, that is not a joke. At the end I am covered in leaves and dirt and wheezing around the path like I'm literally going to die right there, not a pretty sight. Needless to say this is the last nature walk I will be attending while I am pregnant.

TGIF

I would like to let you all know what I do EVERY Friday, I visit my favorite pregnancy website "Alphamom" I got introduced to it by a friend who recently had a baby and I highly recommend it to any expecting moms the lady is super sarcastic and doesn't make you feel like you are doing 400 million things wrong. Most pregnancy websites are super harsh... I will explain:

Examples: Websites that say make sure you are working out 3-4 times a week which will help with pushing the baby out and avoid stretch marks, eating strictly ORGANIC, drinking 10 glasses of water daily, and if you want a treat after dinner grab a hand full of almonds...lets address these things

1.) Working out 3-4 times a week- simply makes me giggle. I will give ALL of you a job well done sticker if you do this- and please comment on how you get the energy to do so. I do yoga once a week and a walk here and there and I feel like I just completed a marathon by the end of these tasks.

2.) Eating Organic- HA! Who has a million + to go FOOD shopping with. It is so expensive, they are lucky that I have switched my blueberry waffles to Kashi Blueberry Waffles

I am not even sure if theses are Organic or not.

3.) Drinking 10 glasses of water daily: NOW I know this is an important one and I do try to do this but I get to about 7 glasses and the heartburn/ingestion is so extreme that I can't even look at the glass without wanting to vom.

4.) When did almonds become a "treat after dinner" maybe if they are topped on a sundae or something it would be a treat.

Sorry for the rant- my hormones are in full swing again

What I'm LOVING Wednesday

I decided to start doing "What I'm Loving Wednesday" I got the idea from Erin @ The Swanky Southern Yankee I think its fun way to celebrate being half way through the week!!!

First:

I am LOVING that my baby shower invites came in! Why you ask? Oh because I had ordered them about 2 weeks ago, never received a confirmation of the order, AND when I went check on the site I ordered them from a nice "website could not be found" error came up- I was 100% sure I got scammed. But here they are and I couldn't be more happy with how they turned out!

Second:

I am loving that I can FINALLY feel my baby kicking!!!! I still can not believe this is actually a human inside me kicking and squirming around.

I sometimes even ask Roberto "Does your stomach make a popping like that at all" {obv I get a weird look with just the word "no" out of him} So I guess this is actually what kicking feels like!

Third:
EOS Lip Balm! Im a crazy woman about chap stick!! I think I have 10 tubes in my purse, but this was a recent buy and I am overly obsessed with it. It is a smooth and minty treat for my lippys!

Fourth:

I am loving that I completely forgot that I have these lace leg warmers in my drawer which happen to be the perfect accessory for spring! I love finding items you forget that you have ...its kind of like finding money in you pockets that you never knew was there... woohoo!

What do you LOVE this Wednesday??
